I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with training in Marriage and Family Therapy, which allows me to understand individual challenges within the broader context of relationship and family dynamics.
I specialize in Couples Counseling and Affair Recovery, helping couples navigate the aftermath of infidelity and work toward clarity, accountability, and meaningful repair. I also specialize in working with individuals and couples who are ready to move beyond distress and actively engage in Post-Traumatic Growth—helping them make sense of their experiences, identify new direction, and create a more intentional and meaningful path forward.
My work is solution-focused and grounded in both clinical training and real-world application. I help individuals and couples make sense of what is not working, identify the patterns and thought processes contributing to distress, and develop practical strategies that support lasting change. The goal is to work collaboratively toward a more stable, intentional, and clearly defined path forward.
In addition to my clinical practice, I bring over 20 years of experience in the Special Education field, have taught counseling courses at the graduate level, mentored and supervised new clinicians, and regularly write on topics related to mental health, relationships, and personal growth. I bring a balance of academic and clinical training along with insight and practical understanding to the work I do with clients.
At the same time, I approach this work with a broader, more holistic perspective—recognizing that each person’s experience is shaped by more than just symptoms or circumstances. I look at the whole person, including patterns, relationships, life context, and internal belief systems, and how these pieces interact over time.
I also value showing up in a way that feels genuine and accessible. Developing a comfortable, authentic rapport is an important part of the process, and I aim to create an environment where clients can think clearly, speak openly, and engage in meaningful, productive work.

Depression, anxiety, and persistent worry can take a real toll on how you think, feel, and function day to day. According to the National Institute of Mental Health, tens of millions of adults in the U.S. struggle with anxiety and depression each year. These experiences often show up physically as well, including tension, fatigue, sleep disruption, or a constant sense of restlessness or unease.
For many people, these patterns don’t simply fade with time—they tend to linger, cycle, or quietly intensify without a clear understanding of what is driving them.
In therapy, we work to understand what is happening beneath the surface, while also focusing on concrete, active strategies to reduce symptoms and improve how you think, respond, and function day to day.
This includes building the ability to manage anxious thinking, regulate emotional responses, and respond more effectively in moments of stress.
The goal is not just symptom relief, but gaining clarity, stability, and a stronger sense of control in how you respond to your thoughts and emotions.

An important part of my approach also includes bibliotherapy, or the intentional use of reading as part of the therapeutic process.
Research has shown that guided reading can be highly effective in helping people identify patterns, gain clarity, and make meaningful changes in how they think and respond.
I use carefully selected resources to support and extend the work we do in session, giving you practical tools and insights that can be applied in your day-to-day life.

I specialize in couples counseling with a focus on affair recovery, helping couples navigate the aftermath of infidelity with clarity, accountability, and a structured path forward. This work is not about simply “getting past” what happened, but about understanding it, addressing the underlying dynamics, and determining what is possible moving forward—together or apart. ACCEPTED INSURANCE PANELS FOR INDIVIDUAL OR CO JOINT FAMILY COUNSELING WITH A MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS:

I am in-network with several insurance providers listed above; however, I am not a participating provider with Medicare.
My work with couples, particularly in the area of infidelity and affair recovery, is highly specialized and structured. This process is focused on the relationship itself—helping couples establish clarity, develop accountability, and work toward meaningful repair.
Because medical insurance is designed to cover treatment for an identified individual with a diagnosable condition, relationship-focused work does not always align with the structure and requirements of insurance-based care. For this reason, couples counseling is typically offered on a private pay basis.
Couples Counseling Fees:
When infidelity is first discovered, couples are often in a state of crisis—even if it is not immediately recognized as such. Emotions can be intense, communication becomes reactive, and it can be difficult to think clearly about what to do next.
For this reason, I offer extended or intensive sessions designed to provide immediate support, help stabilize the situation, and create a clear and structured path forward during this early and highly vulnerable phase.
Please contact me directly for more information regarding availability and fees.
If you are seeking individual support, services may be covered by your insurance plan depending on your specific benefits. In cases where insurance coverage is important, beginning with individual counseling can be a helpful starting point.
